  1. We need to have a new paradigm for teaching our kids. Our old system is antiquated. How can we make our education system better, at a much lower cost? I say kill the Dept of Education and being the money back to local districts. Let them make the decisions on how to best move away form the tired old ways of yesterday. The world has changed and the last thing we need is more "bricks in the wall." We need our youth to be armed for a tough world, with job skills (for the 80% that do not go to college) and the fundamentals mastered. What do you think are some good ideas to save our schools?
